Marriage, Fiance, and Family Immigration Law

As the proud father of three sons, Dale Schwindaman understands that family matters more than anything. He is committed to reuniting your family in the U.S. by navigating the complexities of family immigration law efficiently on your behalf. Over the years, Dale has made it possible for many spouses and children of U.S. citizens to obtain a green card in North Carolina. He genuinely cares about bringing families together.

Seeking a Family Green Card

There are two ways to unite families under U.S. immigration laws. First, if your family members lawfully entered the U.S. pursuant to a temporary visa, they may be eligible for adjustment of status, in which case they may remain in the U.S. while processing occurs at USCIS district offices and service centers. Second, if family members currently reside outside the U.S., once initial USCIS petitions are approved, visa processing can occur at the U.S. consulate where they reside.

When you contact Schwindaman Law Firm, we will begin by offering you a cost quote and initial advice on the USCIS stage of the process, as well as advice on what you can expect during visa processing. Throughout, we are happy to answer your questions about how to get a green card: the estimated cost, the steps involved, and the duration of the process.

Family Case Testimonials

My husband and I were forced to adopt my younger brother after my mother in Germany became too ill financially to provide for him. Schwindaman Law Firm expertly guided us through our son's adjustment of status process, keeping us advised at all stages, and providing detailed information to USCIS proving the legitimacy of his application. We found Mr. Schwindaman and his staff to be far more educated on immigration law and procedures than previous attorneys we had consulted. We will gladly use them again and again for future immigration and citizenship matters.--Adirenne T.

Schwindaman Law Firm, Dale and Glenda, did a great job of guiding me through the whole immigration process, from marriage green card, to the I-751 removal of conditions for permanent residence, to my naturalization. They were always there to answer all of my questions, to meet with me when necessary, and generally were great shoulders to lean on whenever the going got tough. I'd encourage anyone needing immigration help to take advantage of the assistance. --Navjot T.
